About the Artist:

Veda Aggarwal lives in Pune and is an acclaimed classical guitarist. she has been teaching and performing locally for several years. Her last collaborative work was adapting Arias from Mozart’s Don Giovianni for classical guitar, in a unique online partnership with the American soprano Samantha Chardin. One of five national finalists for the Spanish Guitar Competition in 2009, Veda has received special training from classical guitarists Roger Zimmerman and GFA 2010 winner Johannes Moller.

About the concert:

Veda will engage the audience with an  evening of classical guitar with a focus on the Spanish Romantic composers. Veda will play some Bach – a few pieces from his lute suites and some from the cello repertoire. There will also be a few Tarrega pieces including Capricho Arabe, and will end with Asturias by Isaac Albeniz. The evening’s concert will be followed by an interaction with the artist and conversations on music.
